The second evolution of our MIFARE^® DESFire^® ICs offers a good performance,  security, privacy and enhanced multi-application support to enable new business models. The new MIFARE DESFire EV2 contactless IC further increases flexibility and is also available on NXP’s SmartMX secure smart card platform used e.g. for contactless bank cards and secure elements for the use with NFC enabled mobile devices providing good end user experience in mobile ticketing.

Compared to MIFARE DESFire EV1 a MIFARE DESFire EV2 chip can hold as many different applications as the memory size supports and new applications can be loaded after the card has been deployed into the market. A purse can even be shared between applications, for greater interoperability.

The MIFARE DESFire EV1 4K card from NXP operates at 13.56 MHz wireless frequency, according to the ISO 14443A standard with the transport protocol complying to the ISO 14443-4 standard. It features a 4K byte non volatile memory, a high speed triple-DES data encryption co-processor, a flexible memory organization structure, a mutual 3-pass authentication technique together with a true random number generator and an anti-tear mechanism to guarantee data integrity during contactless transactions.

Not all 'Chinese Magic' cards are alike. There are many chipset types, each with different levels of reliability and functionality.

• All blocks (including Block 0) can be re-written multiple times
• Use ProxMark3 (Magic Chinese function) or libnfc to change UID.
• Uses "backdoor" technique to change/rewrite UID.
• UID can be changed multiple times.
• Not suitable for MCT on Android (Mifare Classic Tool)
• Answers to Chinese magic backdoor commands (GEN 1a): YES

This is the same chip used in the FlexM1 Magic 1K Gen1. Also known as "MF 1K Magic UID – Changeable UID – Gen1a -S50 BLOCK 0"

Not all 'Chinese Magic' cards are alike. There are many chipset types, each with different levels of reliability and functionality. These tags are Direct Write, meaning that Block 0 / UID can be written without any backdoor commands, making them ideal for users using Android and Mifare Classic Tools.

These tags are in white PVC card format.

The xNT can be read and written to by many types of ISO14443A based RFID systems, and all NFC compliant reader/writer devices including USB devices and all NFC compatible mobile phones.

The T5577 chip is a multi-purpose 125KHz RFID emulator, capable of emulating practically every modulation and data-rate combination:

• 125KHz ATA5577 programmed as EM4299 / EM4102
• Pre-programmed with a unique 40bit ID number
• Read / Write ATA5577 provides “tag emulation” and “Cloning” options
• Works with many older digital door locks and RFID read / write devices

This is the same chip used in the xEM & NExT (EM Mode)

The ICODE SLIX2 IC is the newest member of NXP’s SLIX product family. The chip is fully backward compatibility compatible to SLIX and offers an increased user memory size, along with new outstanding features and performance.
